The Deputy Governor of Ebonyi State, Princess Patricia Onyemaechi Obila, GCEHF, has been honoured with the prestigious “Golden Mother” Award by the Nso Na Agha Adoration Ministry, Ugwuachara, Abakaliki, in recognition of her humanitarian contributions and service to humanity.
The award was presented during a solemn Holy Mass officiated by the Spiritual Director of the ministry, Rev. Fr. Kenneth Nomeh.
Presenting the honour, Rev. Fr. Nomeh commended the Deputy Governor for her philanthropic gesture in constructing and donating a modern 10-seater restroom facility to the ministry. He described Princess Obila as a compassionate, dependable, and outstanding leader whose commitment to selfless service reflects genuine Christian values.
Responding to the recognition, Princess Obila expressed gratitude to the leadership and members of the ministry for the honour bestowed on her. She praised Rev. Fr. Nomeh for his inspiring teachings and unwavering spiritual guidance, noting that his ministry has continued to impact lives positively.
The Deputy Governor reiterated the commitment of the administration of Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru to improving the welfare of the people of Ebonyi State through the implementation of the People’s Charter of Needs agenda.
She assured residents that the state government would continue to initiate and support programmes aimed at improving the quality of life for all citizens, regardless of their background or status.
The event attracted top government officials, community leaders, and members of the Nso Na Agha Adoration Ministry, who gathered to celebrate the Deputy Governor’s recognition for her contributions to community development and humanitarian service.
