The First Lady of Ebonyi State, Mrs. Uzoamaka Nwifuru, has described the overwhelming endorsement of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, by the people of Ebonyi State as a strong vote of confidence in the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda and ongoing efforts to transform Nigeria.
Speaking after the endorsement rally held on Monday, Mrs. Nwifuru said the massive turnout of citizens from across the state marked a defining moment in Ebonyi’s political history and reflected the people’s appreciation of President Tinubu’s leadership and reform-driven administration.
According to her, the show of support by Ebonyians from all walks of life underscores their belief in the transformative policies and programmes of the Federal Government, as well as their commitment to sustaining the gains of good governance and national development.
“I am deeply honoured to witness this historic expression of solidarity and support by our people,” the First Lady said.
“The massive turnout and unwavering commitment displayed by Ebonyians reflect our collective appreciation for the transformative policies and programmes of the Tinubu administration and our determination to sustain the gains of good governance and national development.”
Mrs. Nwifuru also commended the National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), led by National Chairman Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, for its dedication to party unity and progress. She particularly appreciated the Chairman for representing President Tinubu at the event, describing it as a demonstration of the strong relationship between the Presidency, the party leadership, and the people of Ebonyi State.
The First Lady further lauded Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for his visionary leadership and unwavering support for the Renewed Hope Agenda, noting that his administration has continued to strengthen Ebonyi State’s position within the APC and contribute to national development efforts.
She equally expressed gratitude to members of the National Assembly, federal appointees, party leaders, traditional rulers, local government officials, youth and women groups, as well as other stakeholders whose contributions ensured the success of the endorsement rally.
Mrs. Nwifuru paid special tribute to the women of Ebonyi State for their resilience, active participation in governance, and continued support for the APC and community development initiatives.
She also extended appreciation to Ebonyians both at home and in the diaspora for their unwavering support for President Tinubu, the Ebonyi State Government, and the ruling party.“Your confidence in our leadership and shared vision for a prosperous future continue to inspire us,” she stated.
The First Lady called on citizens to remain united and steadfast in supporting policies and programmes that promote economic growth, social development, and national cohesion.
She expressed optimism that through collective commitment and cooperation, Ebonyi State and Nigeria would continue on the path of progress and prosperity.
The endorsement rally drew political leaders, government officials, party faithful, traditional institutions, and supporters from across the state in a show of solidarity with President Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.
