Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has congratulated the member representing Ikwo/Ezza South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Comrade Chinedu Ogah, on the occasion of his 50th birthday, describing him as an outstanding legislator, astute politician, and committed servant of the people.
In a goodwill message issued on Thursday by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Dr. Monday Uzor, Governor Nwifuru said the celebration marks not only a personal milestone but also a tribute to Ogah’s enduring legacy of purposeful leadership, political resilience, and unwavering commitment to the service of Ebonyi State and humanity.
The Governor, who praised the Chairman of the House Committee on Reformatory Institutions for his legislative accomplishments and political sagacity, noted that courage, patriotism, and an uncommon passion for the advancement of the people have consistently defined Ogah’s public service.
“Your journey in public service has been defined by courage, patriotism, and an uncommon passion for the progress of our people,” the Governor stated.
Reflecting on Ogah’s contributions in the National Assembly, Governor Nwifuru said the federal lawmaker has continued to demonstrate that true leadership is measured by service, vision, and the ability to positively impact lives.
He further commended Ogah for his unwavering support for the Ebonyi State Government’s People’s Charter of Needs Agenda, describing him as a dependable partner in the collective effort to accelerate the state’s development.
According to the Governor, Ogah’s cooperation and constructive engagements have significantly contributed to the successful implementation of policies and programmes aimed at improving the welfare of citizens, expanding infrastructure, strengthening human capital development, and sustaining the peace and progress currently enjoyed across the state.
