The First Lady of Ebonyi State, Chief Mrs. Mary-Maudline Uzoamaka Nwifuru, has congratulated the newly elected chairmen and vice chairmen of the state’s 13 Local Government Areas following their swearing-in.
In a congratulatory message, the First Lady described the occasion as a new opportunity for the newly sworn-in leaders to serve the people and make meaningful contributions to the development of their respective communities.
She also expressed appreciation to the immediate past chairmen and vice chairmen for their service, sacrifices and contributions to the development of their respective local government areas.
Mrs. Nwifuru urged the new council leaders to embrace their responsibilities with humility and integrity, while prioritising the welfare and development of the people they have been elected to serve.
She prayed that God would grant them the wisdom, strength and grace needed to discharge their duties effectively and make a positive difference in their communities.
“Congratulations once again, and may God continue to bless Ebonyi State and her people,” she said.
