Ebonyi State Governor, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, has felicitated with the Speaker of the Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Moses Ije Odunwa, on the occasion of his birthday.
Governor Nwifuru, in a goodwill message, described the Speaker as a calm, responsible and progressive leader who has distinguished himself through purposeful leadership and his commitment to peace, unity and cooperation within the Ebonyi State House of Assembly.
The Governor commended Odunwa for fostering a harmonious atmosphere among members of the State Legislature, noting that his leadership has contributed to stability and effective legislative business in the State.
Nwifuru also highlighted the Speaker’s commitment to constructive collaboration between the Legislature and the Executive, saying the cordial relationship between the two arms of government has contributed significantly to the smooth implementation of the administration’s policies, programmes and development agenda.
According to him, the existing harmony between the Legislature and Executive has strengthened the collective capacity of government to deliver on the administration’s People’s Charter of Needs and advance the interests and wellbeing of Ebonyians.
The Governor prayed for God’s continued guidance and blessings upon the Speaker, wishing him greater wisdom, sound health, renewed strength and many more years of impactful service to Ebonyi State and Nigeria.
He further congratulated Rt. Hon. Moses Ije Odunwa on his birthday, expressing optimism that the new year would bring him greater accomplishments and enduring blessings.
