Deputy Governor of Ebonyi State, Her Excellency, Princess Patricia Onyemaechi Obila, has congratulated Nigerians and the people of Ebonyi State as the country marks its 66th Independence Anniversary and the state celebrates 30 years of its creation.
Obila, in a goodwill message, said she was delighted to join the state Governor, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, in celebrating the twin milestones, describing them as significant occasions for reflection, gratitude and renewed commitment to peace and development.
She congratulated President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on what she described as the strides recorded under the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The Deputy Governor also felicitated Governor Nwifuru and the First Lady of Ebonyi State, Chief Mrs. Uzoamaka Mary-Maudline Nwifuru, commending the administration for consolidating the developmental foundations laid by previous administrations through the People’s Charter of Needs agenda.
Obila further congratulated the Minister of Works, Senator Engr. David Nweze Umahi, CON, whom she described as the “Star Boy” of the Renewed Hope Agenda, as well as past leaders and the people of Ebonyi State for their contributions to the growth and development of the state.
She prayed for the continued peace, prosperity and development of both Nigeria and Ebonyi State.
“Happy celebrations, my people. May our state and nation continue to thrive in peace and prosperity,” the Deputy Governor said.
